This oak dove tailed wooden seed display and storage box has the original advertising label on the interior which was for ‘D.M. Ferry & Co’s. Flower Seeds’. Notice that there is detailed instructions on how one could utilize this box along with a lighter cardboard insert to display and sell the seeds. This box is marked with a patent date of 1906. There is 18 packets of old seeds. Originally this box came with 140 packets of flowers seeds which cost 5 cents a piece and the wooden box cost the merchant $1.00, which would have been refunded if returned. This oak box measures 11 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and is 3 3/4″ high.
