Antique Mechanical Wind Up Toy Turtle in the Box – J. Chein & Co.

Antique all original and in exceptional condition Mechanical tin wind up turtle with native figure riding on the turtle’s back. This toy comes still with the original box that it was shipped in. Notice that this toy was made by, ‘J. Chein & Company’ out of Harrison, New Jersey. This toy was the No. 145 version toy and notice that the rider and turtle’s head go up and down as the turtle moves. The box measures 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and is 4 1/2″ high. This toy is one that is listed in the O’Brien’s book of toys.
