Buddy L Texaco Advertising Fuel Tanker Toy Truck

An all original 1950’s BUDDY L Texaco Tanker Truck made with pressed steel. This is the red Steel GMC 550-Series blunt-nose tractor and semi-trailer tank. Circa 1959. Note the original Buddy L marked tires and original Buddy L labels marked throughout on this toy. On the back of the tanker is fun wordage that reads, ‘Tour with Texaco – Sound your horn – The Road is Yours’. On the underside is a Buddy L label that reads, ‘A Buddy L Quality Toy – Manufactured by Moline Pressed Steel Corp. – Use of Texaco Trademark Authorized by Texaco Inc.’. Measures 24″ long is 6″ high and is 5 1/2″ wide. This tanker is in excellent original condition, so don’t miss adding this piece to your antique Buddy L toy or Texaco advertising collection.
