One of the rarest Handel decorated Mosserine desk lamps in existence. The lamp begins with a chipped ice Mosserine shade in a warm brown hue with an Arts & Crafts chain link design molded into the rim of the shade. The shade is then supported by a base of heavy Arts & Crafts influence with an Native American-type pattern on its square platform with rivets trimming the foot of the base with the central shaft of the base has a nice vertically ribbed effect. The shade is signed “Brown Handel 6897 1/2”. Base is signed with “Handel Lamps” on a felt tag. SIZE: Shade is 10 1/4″ long and 3″ deep. Overall the lamp stands 13 1/2″ high. Excellent original condition with acorn pull chain off and on switch. This lamp is in working order. This lamp came from out of the Ottumwa, Iowa area and we are thrilled to be able to offer this fine Handel lamp for sale.
