Antique Variation of Dresden Plate Pieced Quilt – Scalloped Edges

This is a beautiful antique quilt that dates to the 1930’s and has been done in an attractive floral or variation of a Dresden plate pattern, with an orange circular center for each flower design. Note how three of the print fabric petals make up part of the second flower in the overall design of this quilt. This is a remarkable quilt both for the choice of pattern use and with the scalloped edge along with the fine sewing skills that this quilt has been made with. This quilt measures 78″ x 83″ and the stitches per inch is 9 to 10. Exceptional original condition and you will not want to miss adding this quilt to your own personal antique collection.
