Beautiful mid 1800’s appliqued quilt that depicts the rose variation pattern design of either the Democrat Rose or Whig Rose pattern. Notice the early red and turquoise blue colors, along with yellow and white background colors in this large quilt that measures 102″ x 76″. The quilting is also exceptional on this quilt as it is 9 stitches per inch. The red fabric has some wear, but exceptional for the early age of this quilt. This quilt came from out of a farm home in the Beardstown, Illinois area. If you are a serious American quilt collection then this quilt is one that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal antique quilt collection.
