This grandfather case will store a pocket watch in the top sectional there is a hook to hold the watch and to serve as the face of this clock as well. Then there is storage for a few spools of thread. This would have been a fun piece to have placed where one did their handiwork and evening conversations. Notice that on the front of the clock there is the words and music ‘My Grandfather’s Clock’ by Henry C. Work. The words are very small but I found the song and it has a rich message.
