Beautiful all original Crown Milano pickle castor done in the Holly design and what is an exceptional find is to see that all the berries are still in tact on this insert. These are very rare to find still in tact over so many years. You can see this for yourself if you look in the art glass reference book, Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty B. Sisk on page 112. Notice there is hardly any berries still on this insert compared to the one we are offering. This insert has the appropriate Crown Milano signature on the bottom and it measures approximately 4″ high just the insert. The silver plated holder is marked by its maker and is signed, ‘Aurora Silver Plate Mfg. Company – Warranted Triple Plate – #679’. This silver plated stand measures 12 1/2″ high and at the widest point is 6″ wide. All complete and original with the silver plated lid and pickle tongs. This is an exceptional piece of Crown Milano and one that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal collection.
