Antique Moser Art Glass Pillow Vase with bird

Pink opalescent glass distinguishes this elegant Moser pillow vase. An intricately executed sculptural bird in gliding full winged position depicts nicely against the soft contrasting translucent pink color. Beautiful gold colored applied scrolling feet complete this wonderful vase’s design along with applied decorative applied side decors and gold scrolling top border design. Established in 1857, Moser earned a worldwide reputation for high-quality workmanship and artistry, exhibiting at various world expositions and garnering a number of awards, often referred to as “The Glass of Kings,” Moser served as the Court Purveyor to Kaiser Franz Joseph I, King Edward VII, and the Shah of Persia.
