This neat mechanical bank was made. Kyser & Rex Co., PA, Patented 1888, cast iron and hand painted, multi-action example involves placing coin in the slot and pressing the lever; the buffalo lifts his head as if butting the boy, the boy moves upwards attempting to view the raccoon, the raccoon lowers himself back, and the coin falls into the bank. This bank has the trap and key. This bank came out of a collection in Kansas and he had purchased in Kansas City sale 12/96. Measures 7 3/4″ lenght, 2 3/4 ” width amd 6″ height.
