Wow what an exceptional, detailed, and extremely large example of Mary Gregory art glass is this green Mary Gregory floor vase that measures 18 3/4″ high and at the widest has a diameter of approximately 8″, and the base is 6 1/2″. The vase is decorated with a detailed Mary Gregory scene of a Victorian dressed woman outside gathering flowers from her garden. Excellent details throughout this scene and note that on the opposite side there is a floral Mary Gregory scene and the top neck of the vase is decorated with a draping garland design. Note that there is also gold highlights which encircle this amazing vase. This vase is all original and in excellent original condition. On the top neck of this vase there is on the very top edge of the vase a small place where it appears that the edge was ground smooth. However when one black lights the gold and white paint which is over this area, it does not show evidence that this is new paint. It would appear to us that this smoothing of the glass was original to this vase. This is an exceptional piece of Mary Gregory art glass and again to find a quality piece like this that is 19″ high is exceptional.
