This cast iron Independence Hall building bank was made by the Enterprise Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia and patented by them on September 14, 1875. This bank measures 9″ high x 6 1/4″ deep x 6 3/4″ wide. It is in good condition and note the raised lettering on either side of the bank. On one side it reads, ‘Liberty Proclaimed July 4, 1776’ and the opposite ends reads, ‘Birthplace of American Independence’.
