Antique Cast Iron Frog on the Rock Mechanical Bank – 3″ x 3″

This is the cast iron ‘Frog on Rock’ mechanical bank. Circa 1920’s. This bank was made by Kilgore Manufacturing Company – Westerville, Ohio . It is in nice working condition and still has its nice original paint. This is a very nice original example of an early American toy with the original nickel plated trap door and locking key. To operate this bank, you press down on the button on the front and the frog opens its mouth so the coin can be deposited. The size is approximately 3″ tall, and the base 2 3/4″ x 3″. Exceptional original condition, and you will not want to miss adding this piece to your own personal collection.
