Antique country store counter top scale made by the Computing Scale Company, of Dayton, Ohio. The scale is working and notice the marble platform that you rest your items on to weigh them. Underside of the marble, is an original old paper label with instructions, marked by the same Computing Scale Company, verifying that this is indeed the original marble for this scale. There is an old repair that has been done to this original marble over the years, but the marble is strong and secure. This scale measures 26′ high and the base of the scale is 19 1/2″ deep and 16 1/2″ wide. Several patent dates on this scale and the last one that I read is 1893. This is an early country store scale and notice the exceptional original pen stripping still on this country store scale. Complete with scale weights.
