Antique wooden coffee box with advertising for Yale Brand Coffees. Yale coffee was made by The Steinwender Stoffregen Coffee Companies. The box reads Yale Coffee received the 1904 World’s Fair First Grand Prize for the Highest Award for the Standard of Excellence in Coffee. On the top of this wooden box it is stamped that this box went to C.A. Shepherd GA to IL and there was 50 – 1 pound Packages. This box measures 17 1/2″ x 14 1/2″ and it stands 21″ high. Also on the back side of this box it reads, ‘Guaranteed under the food & drug Act – June 30, 1906. serial Number 2537. If you collect advertising then this wooden coffee box is a must for your antique collection.
