Antique Oak China Cabinet that features two detailed carved ladies that support the fancy hooded canopy with beveled mirror in the back of the canopy. This cabinet is still in exceptional original finish. The carved ladies are each holding a cornucopia to their sides. The center door with key and working lock has a serpentine shaped curve glass and on each side of the door there are highly carved columns with leaves, flowers and a detailed carved bird in the center of each column. The back of the original mirror was stamped Tyler and Hippach, Chicago – August 29, 1904. (We still have the original mirror with this wordage on it.) This is a larger cabinet that measures 52″ width, 19″ depth and 81″ height. Circa 1904. This China cabinet has been done extremely well, and the detail to design and carving is one of the best that we have been able to find. You will not want to miss adding this fine piece to your own personal antique collection.
