What a wonderful set of Antique Oak Triple Press Back Chairs – in very good original finish. The unusual, pressed back design with filigree and two elk heads facing away from each other, 8 turned spindles from the top and joining to the lower pressed back design. The solid plank seats have hip rests and a pressed skirt under front of seat, tapered curved legs on front. The set of six chairs measure 4o 1/2″ height, seat is 18″ wide, 16 1/2″ depth and 17″ depth. Circa 1900.
