This oak bookcase is made by the Danner Furniture Company. The bookcase is in original condition and very unusual to find one with this much depth. Each bookcase has three sections that are stacking units have adjustable shelves on the inside of sections. The doors slide horizontally, the well-known Danner feature. There are 3 shelves that are not the original made for each section. The bottom section is a little deeper than the two sections above with writing boards that pull out. (This case will display large pieces because of the extra depth.) Egg and dart decorated molding trim at the top. Measures 81 1/2″ Height, 23″ Depth at the base, 37″ Width. (Interior 35 1/2″ width. 14″ depth, 22 1/2″height on top two, 18″ depth, 23″ height on bottom section) Circa 1900.
