Antique Turnbull’s No 192 Family Scale complete with Wooden Storage Box

Old Antique Landers, Frary & Clark family scale that still comes complete with the scale’s original shipping and storage wooden dovetailed box. Notice the original paper advertising label that is attached to this box that reads that this scale is the ‘Turnbull’s No 192 – Improved Family Scale that weighs up to 12 pounds by ounces. This scale was made by Landers, Frary, & Clark out of New Britain, Connecticut. The storage and shipping box measures 8 1/4″ high is 6 3/4″ wide by 7″ deep. Notice that the scale is complete with even the scoop portion that rests on top of the black plate. Detailed wordage and graphics on this scale which make it an attractive piece. To balance the scale to the scoop, turn the thumb screw on top of the scale, is the instructions that are still in the box along with some other old papers. What a remarkable find to have this scale and original box still all together and complete. When the scale is all together it measures 13″ high.
