Antique Pharmaceutical Drug Store Apothecary Scale – Springer Torsion Scale

Antique encased pharmaceutical drug store apothecary scale that has a name plaque that reads, ‘The Springer Torsion Balance Company – New York – Patented August 15, 1882 – Style 269 and No. 9737’. This scale appears that it was serviced and maintained by, ‘W.B. Wright – Torsion Balance Service – 213 N Pines – Opportunity, Washington’. This enclosed scale measures 12 1/2″ wide by 6 1/2″ high and is 5 1/2″ deep. The top two trays are removable. Minimal wear on the chrome over cast iron base with the rest of the case and scale being in very good original condition. Don’t miss adding this unique scale to your own personal collection.
