This is a beautiful and detailed Crown Milano marmalade jar made by Mount Washington that is hobnail with Starfish design with jeweled embellishment that fully decorate this piece. This piece measures 6″ diameter and stands 6″ high when the handle is in the upright position. To the top of the finial on the lid it stands 4 1/4″ high.
This wonderful example of Crown Milano at its best is pictured on page 89 of the book “Mt. Washington Art Glass” by Betty B. Sisk. The author gives this piece a value of $1200.00-$1800.00 at the time of issue in 2003.
