Antique Carved Oak drop front Small Writing or Office Desk

This  solid quarter oak secretary or  ladies drop front desk is in original finish and in very good condition. The top of the desk has a solid brass decorative gallery. The drop front desk is supported by two pull out slides that make the desk sturdy when opened. Note the outstanding carved design on the lid.  The dovetailed drawers have solid cast brass handles.  On the back there is a label that reads: Paine Furniture Company Manufactures and Importers of Fine Furniture  Boston Mass. Measures 29″ Wide, 43 1/2″ Height (to top of brass gallery) and 17″ Depth. Circa 1900. –
