W266B Ansonia Figural Cavalier Clock
This is a detailed all original Ansonia clock that is stored beside a full figural Cavalier figure which is both supported on a black ebonized base. The base of this clock measures 19 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" deep. Note that on the front outer ends of this base there is capped on either end a scrolling detailed figural type design of the Old Man of the North design. This large cavalier figure on this clock stands 21' high at the highest point. The face of the clock measures 5 1/2" diameter. On the backside of the clock it is marked, 'Ansonia Clock Co. - Patent June 14, 1881 New York, U.S.A.'. There is a second patent date, June 18, 1882 - France'. The clock is complete with the winding key and pendulum. This clock makes an impressive statement, what an excellent finishing touch this clock would be displayed on one's mantel. This clock is in working condition, however all clocks may require minor adjustments when they are shipped or hauled. Excellent all original condition. - SOLD
