W225B Pure Oil Co. Advertising Gas Globe
This is an old antique gas globe that advertises 'Pure Oil Company - Products of the Pure'. This Pure gas globe has both of its original curve glass inserts which are in good original condition. The metal band, one can tell has been repainted over the years, currently with a dark red color, one can see yellow underneath, and perhaps a white color at one time. The globe measures 17" diameter with just the glass inserts being 14 1/2" diameter. The globe is 19 1/2" high and the bottom opening is 6" diameter. Two colors of blue and white decorate the glass inserts with an attractive geometrical star burst design that catches your eyes when looking at this advertising gas globe. This is a nice piece of gasoline advertising that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal antique gas advertising collection. - $1200.
