W166B Coca-Cola Bottle Rack
This folding Coca Cola bottle rack was made to stack crates for retail sales. There is a nice tin Coca Cola advertising Sign - reads 'Big King Size Serve Coca Cola Sign of Good Taste'. This rack measures 59 1/2" high, is 17 1/2" deep when the racks are down and is 11 1/2" wide. Note that the racks are spring loaded and the weight of the cases of coke is what holds the racks down otherwise the shelves are made to spring up to the vertical position. This rack dates after 1942 we would estimate it to be approximately the early 1950's. The top rack has impressed in the wire the following, 'Property of Coca-Cola Bottling Co.'. - $450.
