W124C  1cent Coin Operated Machine Daval American Eagle Counter Game

This 1cent trade stimulator machine. This small coin operated machine was made by Daval. Made during the years between 1940-1952. These machines would pay out in a token payout or a gold award model. The play-for-payout aspect was heightened by the fact that the American Eagle used the fruit symbols, although all the player usually got was a gumball. But when you win on this machine you get a surprise token. Tokens are numbered 10, 15, 25 and were stacked randomely, so you never know what value you get until it is in your hand. This was often then traded in for Cash, This machine still has the tokens. Machine measures 7" wide, 11" height and 9" depth. Still in working order. We purchase at a local auction at McCook, Nebraska originally came from the grand daughter of Ruby of Ruby's Café in Stanford, Nebraska. - $795.
