W100B  Antique Glass Fish Bowl on Iron Stand

What a unique glass fish bowl inserts into this metal pedestal stand. The glass on this bowl is tinted with a touch of light brown, and what is very attractive is the crackled type effect that this bowl has been made with. One can feel the lines when rubbing your hand over the outside of the bowl, and on the inside the bowl feels smooth. The top rim of this bowl is done with a darker green color. This is a very different and unique fish bowl. The bowl measures right at 9" high and at the widest has a diameter of 11 1/2", the top opening is 6 1/4" diameter and the very bottom is 6 1/2" diameter. The metal stand is a dark red and under the red there has been a green color. Notice the three metal flowers around the top and bottom of this stand for a decorative addition. Also, on the bottom of the three legs there is impressed into the metal a web foot design. How appropriate for a fish bowl stand. This fish bowl and stand was acquired in Illinois from a prominent estate auction. When the fish bowl is inserted into the metal stand it measures 45" high. To the top of just the metal stand it is 42" high. The base of the metal stand is approximately 13" wide from one leg to the other. - $325.
