W087C  Victorian Photo Album Celluloid Cover with 2 Dogs

This is an excellent example of an early Victorian photo album. The front of this album depicts two Irish setter type hunting dogs which appear to be stalking their next prey. Notice the depth and the detail on these dogs as well as the floral decoration that encircles the front cover of this album. The album measures 8 1/2" x 10 1/2" and has a thickness of 3 1/4". There is pages to hold 30 pictures and the frames are the size that would hold pictures that are 5" x 7" best. There is two old photos still in the front of this album. The binding, latch and purple felt on this album are in excellent original condition. The entire album is in excellent original condition.
