W086B  Rare Brass & Beveled Glass Watch Case

This is a unique and very rare fancy storage case for a pocket watch. Notice the tufted cloth interior and the brass hook to hang the pocket watch from. This specially made showcase would allow you to store your pocket watch when you retired for the evening, yet because of the visibility of the watch case you could display your watch inside this case beside your bed and you could easily see what time it was through the glass case. Fancy raised feet, latched front door for ease in access to the watch, beveled glass on three sides of the storage case, and fancy tufted interior make this case very unique and one of a kind. Even the case has it's own handle for ease in moving the case around. This watch case stand measures 3 1/2" high, 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" deep. Notice the slanted style of the case and at the very top the depth is only 1" deep.
