W067C Early New Haven Wall Clock
This hanging clock was made by and is signed by New Haven Clock Company. Note that the face of the clock and the clock works are all original. The front door on this clock has been done with a reverse painted scene that is labeled as being, 'Family Mansion of Gen. Knox - Thomaston, ME'. The clock is complete with the winding key and pendulum. You would want to go through this clock to get it in working order. The case measures 26" high, 15 1/2" wide, by 4 1/4" deep. The wooden case is a dark wood and good condition. The top clear glass on the door has a thin crack which can only be felt when you rub your finger over the glass on the inside, when you rub your finger on the outside over this spot of the glass you do not feel a crack at all. This clock came from the Mabel, Minnesota area and had been in a private collection.
