W039C National Small Desk File Cabinet
This is an unusual oak file cabinet that is enclosed with a pull down roll that originally would have locked. I do not have the key, however one might be able to get a key to work if you had those skills. Inside the file there is two horizontal files that are all complete with the original index file dividers. On the index files there is the following information, 'For National Cabinet Letter File - John Morris Company - Chicago, Illinois'. The interior measurements are 12" wide by 9 1/2" deep. The overall measurements of the cabinets are 15 1/2" wide x 14" high x 13 1/2" deep. Notice the beveled edge top on the cabinet, the grooved lines that decorate the sides, both features make this cabinet very appealing and eye catching. This desk top style oak file cabinet is a very functional and decorative piece all at the same time. Circa 1900's. - SOLD
