W033B  John Deere Grain King Tail Gate Wagon

This is a very unique and all original John Deere Grain King scoop board or tail gate. This piece was used on an old farm wagon when harvesting corn from out of the fields in the fall. The gate would stay upright when working in the field and then when unloading the grain from the wagon this tail gate would drop down to release the grain from the wagon. This particular grain king appears to have never been used the original John Deere paint and all the wordage for John Deere advertising is in excellent unused condition. Notice that it reads, 'Grain King - Anderson Co. Minnesota Transfer Minn. - John Deere Plow Co. - Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There is a trade mark on this piece of No. 35314 - Grain King'. This piece measures 36" wide and 46" high and at the deepest 13' deep. What an outstanding piece of advertising this grain king tail gate would make if you collect John Deere advertising. - $375.
