T096C Bell Telephone Cast Iron Service Toy Truck
What a exceptional find! This is an all original and complete cast iron toy service truck for Bell Telephone, complete with the pulling trailer which transported the wooden telephone poles. This toy is in exceptional all original condition except that the rubber tires on the truck show wear due to changes in temperature. Notice the raised wordage on either side of the truck that reads, 'Bell Telephone' and then impressed in the sides of the truck on the 'drawers' there is the words, 'Tools'. 'Knobs', and 'Wire', on the opposite side the words, 'Cable', 'Tools' and 'Supplies'. Notice the original attached water jug to the passengers side of the truck. Again all complete with two aluminum ladders and cast iron support for the pulley. The truck measures 5 1/4" high, 13 1/2" long from bumper to end of the pulley, and approximately 4 1/4" wide across the dual back wheels. The trailer with pole measures 11" long and approximately 3 1/2" wide. This is an exceptional all original find and if you collect cast iron toys, or Items related to Bell Telephone then you will not want to miss adding this fine piece to your own personal collection. - $1295.
