T018C Marvel Nickel Plate Toy Range Stove
This is an all original old toy cook stove or range stove that is nickel plated over cast iron. Notice the name 'Marvel' is on the stove twice once on the front of the oven door and again on the side of the stove. The back piece on this stove has two warming ovens, and this stove comes with the lifter for the burners and the opposite end turns the grates. For accessory pieces this stove comes with the cast iron skillet and bucket. This stove measures overall 16 1/2" high, and it is 20" wide and 8 1/2" deep. All complete and in very good all original condition. This stove can be referenced in the book, 'Cast Iron Toy Cook Stoves & Ranges - From A to Z', on page 105, the book is written by Dick & Joan Ford.
This particular stove came from Edinburgh, Illinois. This is a small town outside of Springfield, Illinois. The lady who owned this stove was 96 years old and in a retirement home. She was given this stove when she was a little girl by her grandparents.
