P120B  Mallard Ducks in Flight Painting Maryott

This is a beautiful original signed painting that depicts Mallard ducks in flight by Miles Maryott. This painting is signed in the lower right hand corner and the painting is dated 1913. Exceptional details on this oil on canvas painting notice the detailed color scheme on the Mallard ducks. This is a larger painting that measures 20" x 30". Someone has placed this original painting into an old rustic board frame that measures 31" x 42". Miles Maryott was a Nebraska artist raised in Cozad, in south central Nebraska. This is a beautiful painting. You will note that on the backside of the canvas you will see three small pieces of white tape. This is three places where the canvas has been secured over the years due to either a tear or rip. Please notice that the beauty of the painting has not been disturbed, and there has not been any paint added to the top side of the painting, just this tape on the backside. We did black light the painting and again the front is all original. This painting was sold at public auction in Eastern Colorado and made available for sale by a family that had received the painting as a gift in their family at one time over the years. - Price $3,750.00
