P036C  Victorian Oval Walnut Frame Stromsburg Nebr. Advertising

This is an all original oval walnut frame that measures 13 1/4" x 11 1/4", this frame is 1 1/2" high. The inner circle on this frame has a brass colored metal oval. Please note that someone over the years has placed in this frame a portrait of a woman, and above her head are the words, 'Souvenir from: Wilson-Castile Co. - Stromsburg, Neb.' Perhaps this portrait was on a calendar originally. Notice that the green oval is a paper that has been cut out and is resting on top of the glass oval. The oval opening where this picture is displayed is 9" x 7". This Victorian walnut frame is a beautiful piece of artwork and whether you leave this portrait in this frame or choose to place your own picture in this frame you will be certain to enjoy this fine piece for many years to come. - SOLD
