P036B  Dutch Children Print with Goose or Duck

What a cute print with a tug of war (or power) theme being carried throughout this print. The print depicts a Dutch or Holland theme with the first frame showing two children dressed in Dutch clothing and the wooden shoes chasing or following behind two white geese. However in the second frame there is the reverse, as two children are being catches by a gander and they are in a hurry to get away. The two scenes are separated by a divided frame and notice the special composition ducks or geese that are shown on the bottom of this wooden frame. Notice how the two birds are having a tug of war over a worm (or rope). This print brings a smile to your face when you look at it and begin to absorb the message that the print projects. Both of the prints are signed in the lower right hand corners, 'Ethel Parkinson'. The entire frame measures 21" x 9". Each print is approximately 9" x 6". What a fun and unique frame and prints.
