M516B Gargoyle Mobil Oil Adv Lollipop Sign 30"
Outstanding piece of Mobil Oil advertising. This is an all original Cast iron base lollipop advertising sign that has a great 'Gargoyle' emblem on this 30" diameter double sided porcelain insert that advertises, 'Gargoyle Mobiloil - Socony-Vacuum'. All the lettering on the porcelain insert is slightly embossed. Also on the 20" diameter cast iron base there is embossed in the iron the following information; 'Property of Vacuum Oil Company - Gargoyle - Mobiloil'. The lollipop sign stands a total of 62 1/2" high. This is a great all original old sign. What a great addition this old Gargoyle Mobil oil advertising piece would be to any fine gasoline or oil related collection. - SOLD
