M172C Cast Iron 1909 hand Powered Eyelet Press Rivet
All original cast iron hand operated eyelet or rivet press. Notice that on the front of this tool there is the following information that reads, 'Trade Mark - Challenge - Registered May 7, 1907;. Also on both sides of this tool there is information however the words are not completely legible. It appears that this tool is referred to as, 'The Challenge Eyelet Press'. This tool measures 12 1/2" high to the top of the handle and the base is 6" by 2 3/4" wide. Notice on the bottom that there is a spring type of mechanism that operates this press. For dating to 1909 this tool has great original paint and is still in working condition. - $95.
