M133C Long Distance lunch pail tobacco tin Scotten Dillon
Long Distance Bright Long Cut Plug tobacco pail with wire bale. The tin has a paper label. The tin was produced for the Scotten Dillon Company Detroit Michigan at Factory No. 1 District of Michigan. It measures 5.25" in diameter and 6" high. The tin was designed to hold 14 ounces of tobacco. On one side of the tin is a picture of a steam ship in dark waters with two search lights in the dark. On the opposite side is the Long Distance brand logo picture showing a man talking on a wall phone. That image is inset within a panoramic scene of mountains and pine trees with a train approaching in the distance. There are several small ventilation holes in the lid of the tin. The metal surfaces of the tin have some wear; the paper label is in good condition. The wire bale is in good working condition. - $195. Holiday Special $160
