M104C Mary Lincoln Candies Advertising Enameled Sign - in original crate
This is an amazing find. This is a double sided enameled sign for Mary Lincoln Candies. This would refer to President Lincoln's wife. What makes this sign such a unique find is to find it still in the original shipping box. The sign has never been moved and the box still has the shipping information on it. It reads "From American Signs Com Kalamazoo Mich." "Mary Lincoln Candies Inc. 168-170 Eaton St. Buffalo N.Y." There is also a railroad tag reading "American Railway Express Co. Buffalo N.Y." The sign itself is enameled and simple reads "Mary Lincoln Candies". This sign is in excellent condition and is a one of a kind find to have it still in the original shipping box. The box measures 50" by 14". - $2250.
