M080C Shelton's Hair Perms Advertising Sign - Cellluloid
This all original advertising sign advertises a beauty product called, 'Shelton's Oil of Tulip - for perfect permanents'. Notice that the sign reads that you could display this sign to let customers know that 'This ship is licensed to give Shelton's Oil of Tulip permanent waves - W.G. Shelton Co. - St. Louis, MO.' This old antique advertising sign has a celluloid type covering and beneath the covering is a shiny silver creased lettering that makes for an excellent rich advertising affect. This sign measures 15" x 9". Notice that on the back there is an original sticker that reads; 'This is a trade Prismatic mark Sign - The most effective sign made - Clean with a damp cloth - Manufactured by Bastian Bros. Co. - Rochester, N.Y.'. This sign can be hung with a brass chain at the top. Very good all original condition on this health and beauty antique advertising sign. - $450.
