GC001   Brass Light Fixture and Shades

This is a beautiful brass hanging ceiling light fixture with four frosted glass shades. The fixture is in working condition and notice how each of the four light sockets has it's own on and off switch. The center portion of the fixture is a smooth brass design with the four arms that support the shades having a scrolling floral design and the very bottom center of the center portion is highlighted with an acorn inverted finial, and decorative metalwork. The ceiling mount measures 5" in diameter, and the ceiling mount is attached to the light fixture with brass chain links. The chain links are of a different shade of brass and could possibly not be original to this fixture. The total length of the fixture from ceiling mount to the bottom of the center finial is approximately 32" long. Across the fixture from shade to shade is approximately 22". Each shade is 6" in diameter and from the top to the bottom of each shade it measures 8" high. This is a beautiful ceiling fixture that would be sure to cast a lovely tone to one's atmosphere wherever you might choose to display this fine piece.  

This particular ceiling fixture came from a house at 1502 Lake Avenue, in Gothenburg, Nebraska and to the best of our understanding was original to that particular home.  The frosted shades could possibly have been replaced over the years and the chain links as previously mentioned. Gothenburg, Nebraska is located in south central Nebraska. SOLD
