G519B Louwelsa Weller Corn Whiskey Jug

This is an all original piece of marked Louwelsa Weller. The scene painted on this whiskey jug is that of an ear of corn with the husks still partially on the ear along with the ear silk draping downward from off the cob. This piece measures 5 1/2" high and has a diameter of 4 3/4" diameter. Excellent all original condition. There is one 1/8" diameter circle on the side of this jug where the brown glaze does not cover the jug completely due to a heat bubble that developed when this jug was originally made. Again, this imperfection has been with this jug since it was originally made. This jug is artist signed up beside the handle. - $695. This month's special offer - $595.
