This figural watch holder was made by Conta & Boehme is what we have been informed however it does have the English Staffordshire look. This antique watch holder is all original and in good condition. There is some wear on the gold highlights is the only imperfection to note. A young blacksmith stands resting a sledge hammer on top of an anvil, with a round half open back slot where one inserts a pocket watch for storage and display. This piece measures 5 1/2" high and the base is 4 1/4" wide by 2 3/4" deep. On the bottom of this figural holder there is a raised molded number, '2721', and an impressed number '23'. If you collect antique pocket watches what a fun piece this would be to add to your collection and use it in displaying your watches. This piece was made available from out of a lifetime collection of quality antiques from a collector in the Raytown, Missouri area. Again, excellent all original condition. - Price $450.
