G442B Red Beehive Aladdin Lamp

This is an all original beautiful red glass beehive Aladdin lamp. This lamp measures 23 1/2" high to the top of the chimney. The base is 6 1/2" diameter. The wick dial has raised lettering and it reads, 'Mantle Lamp Co. Nu-Type Model B Aladdin Patents Pending Made in U.S.A. Chicago, Illinois'. Beautiful coloring in this red glass Aladdin lamp that again is in very good all original condition. There is one very small knick in the red glass of this lamp, on the base. This knick is not rough to the touch, in fact very smooth and makes one wonder if this imperfection could have been in this lamp since it was originally made. It is just 1/4" wide, and only 1/8" deep at the deepest point. We will try to take a close-up to show just how minor this knick is. This is a beautiful Aladdin lamp that would make an excellent addition to one's own personal collection. Circa 1937-1938. - SOLD
