G417A Large Royal Dux Art Nouveau Statue Vase
This is one of the best pieces of early Royal Dux that we have ever seen. This lovely and delicately done piece of signed Royal Dux depicts two woman done if full three dimensional design depicted around what appears to be a tree base with draping vine. This large piece stands at the highest point 17 1/2" high and at the widest is 14 1/2" wide and approximately 9 1/2" deep. Excellent gold highlights still accent this piece. Notice the very detailed facial features of both women.
This statue has the pink triangle marking with the encircled 'E' that has the words, 'Royal Dux - Bohemia' around it. There is also impressed into the porcelain the number '1948' and below this the impressed number '8'. Also, hand painted in brown there is the number '39'. Wonderful colors of green, brown, and gold are delicately decorating this awesome piece. This is an exceptional piece that we are thrilled to be able to offer for sale.
