G391A Antique Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture Painted Shade
Lamp
This light fixture's shade has an art deco look to it with it's lovely reversed painted scene. Actually there is painting on both sides of the shade so the shade is an obverse painted shade. The neutral and earth tone colors of this shade make it easy to decorate a room with, yet the uniqueness and quality that this fixture and shade are made with are sure to be very eye catching. The shade measures 16" diameter on the bottom opening and at the top the shade is 8 1/2" diameter opening where it attaches to the top metal bracket mount. A nice metal bracket holds and supports this fine shade. The bracket is 5" in diameter at the top where it mounts to the ceiling. There is adjustable links between the ceiling mount and the metal portion that secures the shade. The bracket that attaches to the shade its self is 10 1/2" in diameter. The shade and the matching bracket are all original and in very good condition. The shade has no cracks or chips. This is a lovely ceiling fixture that was taken out of the childhood home of New York Yankee baseball player Tommy Henrich in Massillon, Ohio. We even have the sale bill that advertised this auction to authenticate this. A great fixture with some unique history behind it as well.
