G367B Pisgah Forest Pottery small Vase Stephen 1949

This turquoise vase is signed on the bottom with the potter at the wheel emblem and the words, 'Stephen' and the date, '1949'. This piece would be attributed to being a piece of Pisgah Forest pottery however in 1940, the pottery was renamed Stephen's Pottery, but W.B. returned to using the Pisgah Forest Pottery name in later years. Excellent piece that is in all original condition and very good shape. This vase measures 4" high and has a diameter of 5" at the widest and the top opening is 2 3/8" diameter and the bottom is just 3" diameter. - $125.
