G338C Victorian Pickle Castor Vaseline Glass
Victorian pattern Vaseline glass insert in this all original old pickle castor. The holder is marked on the bottom, 'American Silver plate Co. - Quadruple', and the set is complete with insert, holder, lid, and pickle tongs. The holder measures 11 1/4" high, and the insert has a diameter of 3". There is one of the small 1/2" squares on the Vaseline insert that has a small ding in the glass, it does not go through the entire thickness of the glass and you don't even feel the roughness with your finger when you rub over the spot with your finger, it is a very small nick. We have taken a close-up to show you. This is still a great piece of Vaseline and one that you would be excited to add to your own personal collection.
